Hedgehog Intensive Care Unit

Since opening, Nash Hedgehog Rescue has been incredibly busy — and at times we've had to close to new admissions simply because we were full.

We're now turning our second rescue shed into a dedicated Hedgehog ICU, giving our most poorly hedgehogs a warm, quiet space away from those who are recovering, while also increasing the number of hedgehogs we're able to care for.

From empty shed to ICU

The shed needs insulating and lining, electrics, easy-clean flooring, worktops, a sink and storage before we can equip it with heat pads, scales, feeding equipment and everything else our patients will need.

We'll be doing as much of the work ourselves as possible and sharing our progress along the way.

We've set up a GoFundMe for anyone who would like to help us turn our empty shed into a dedicated space for the hedgehogs who need us most.
